The ocean meets pristine villas meets contemporary art

That's Asilah in a nutshell. A small resort town an hour south of Tangier, on the Atlantic ocean. Every summer, artists come from all over the world to paint murals on the brilliant white villas of the city. I've heard it described as the Hamptons of Morocco and it's not too far off. It's just a lovely little medina to wander around and get inspired in.

Like Chefhouen, the city has blue accents on many buildings.

Some of the stunning murals that color the town. Just a wonderful little place to relax. Can't wait to get back!
